Stephan Vermeersch is leraar klarinet/saxofoon/ensemble aan deKunstAcademie Knokke-Heist sinds 1990, leraar klarinet/saxofoon aan de Zeeuwse Muziekschool Zeeland sinds 1991. Hij concerteert, componeert en participeert aan festivals, geeft masterclasses en workshops in België, Nederland, Frankrijk, Duitsland, Zweden, Zwitserland, Spanje, Portugal, Italië, Rusland, UK, Litouwen, Oekraïne, Bulgarije, Armenië, Mongolië, Egypte, Pakistan, India, Canada, Japan en USA.

2-4 February 2011: Sabre-symposium (Sensor Augmented Bass Clarinet Research): lecture recital in Zürich, Switserland
23-25 April 2011: Two Days & Two Nights International Festival of Contemporary Music in Odessa, Ukraine: solo recital with mostly own compositions
2-8 July 2011: The Second International Classical Music Festival “Tnjre” is to be held in Artsakh, Armenia/NKR. Performance of Weber Concertino with orchestra, contemporary recitals on clarinet and saxophone, masterclasses for laureats of international competitions
3-7 August 2011: International ClarinetFest 2011 in Northridge, California, USA: solo recital with mostly own compositions, chamber music (3 concerts)
21-23 october 2011 soloist at the Gala Concert of the 10th Europe-Asia International Festival of New Music in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russian Federation. I will perform several of my compositions and take part in chamber music concerts.
27 November: Recital in Hulst, the Netherlands: Stephan Vermeersch - Hans Vermeersch & Rajhans Ensemble in concert
6-10 December: 1st ECA Competition / Masterclass, Madrid - Spain: member of the international jury and giving masterclasses/The 2nd European Clarinet Festival (8-11 December 2011) in Madrid, Spain - solo recital (my compositions) + chamber music
